Conocida como la Capital turística de Colombia, Paipa ofrece a los visitantes historia, al haber sido escenario de históricas batallas libertadoras; cultura proveniente de valientes guerreros chibchas, anteriores habitantes de este territorio; atractivos naturales, como las aguas termales, con atribuciones medicinales, y la práctica de actividades para todos los gustos.

Curiosidades y tips

  • Llevar ropa abrigada. Gran parte del territorio boyacense se caracteriza por encontrarse ubicado en páramos y montañas de entre los 1.500 y 2.000 metros de altura. Si va para el Cocuy es importante llevar ropa invernal de montaña.
  • En ciudades como Paipa, Duitama, Sogamoso y sus alrededores se recomiendan chaquetas, sacos, bufandas o ruanas, para las horas de la noche. Durante el día, la temperatura sube unos grados más, y se disfruta un agradable clima templado - cálido.
