Santa Fe de Antioquia
Este municipio fue la capital de Antioquia hasta el año de 1826, y es reconocida como la ciudad “madre” de Antioquia por su valor histórico y cultural. Adicionalmente, en el año de 1960 fue declarada Monumento Nacional.
Se trata de una población colonial que todavía mantiene la arquitectura en sus casas, parques e iglesias. Adicional a lo anterior, la cultura de este municipio se observa en sus expresiones populares con diversidad de fiestas que se han mantenido con el pasar del tiempo como el bien más preciado.
Cabe recordar que este municipio es cafetero, por tal razón, este producto hace parte de la vida cotidiana y el desarrollo de la cultura de sus habitantes.
Una de las épocas más atractivas para visitar esta población es la de la Semana Santa, dado que es la celebración más antigua del departamento y una de las más solemnes y bellas del país.

Guatapé
Es un municipio de Antioquia y se encuentra ubicado a 79km de Medellín.

Sabaneta
Este municipio del departamento de Antioquia, es el municipio más pequeño del país (15km2). Este destino es muy apetecido por los amantes de los caballos por su tradición arriera.
Dentro de los atractivos que se encuentran en este municipio, se encuentra:
Iglesia de Santa Ana: Su atractivo principal está marcado por la violencia que azotó esta región en años pasados, en donde la mafia hacía una peregrinación a esta Iglesia antes de ir a asesinar a su víctima.
Se trata de la visita a una virgen guerrera que, según se dice, auxilia a los que rezan. De esta forma le rezaban para no tener problemas en su procedimiento.
Actualmente esta iglesia sigue teniendo gran importancia en cuanto a la peregrinación que se realiza los martes. Unas 8 mil personas acuden a rezarle a la virgen María Auxiliadora.
Parque principal: es un espacio en donde se reúnen habitantes y turistas para relajarse o a disfrutar de los establecimientos a su alrededor que tienen el estilo de Fonda Paisa de tiempos pasados.
Una Fonda es una estancia donde los arrieros se detenían para alojarse o tomar licor acompañado de música popular.

Santa Elena
Es el pueblo en donde se siembran y cultivan las flores para posteriormente hacer las famosas silletas que se exhiben en la Feria de las Flores.
Ubicado a 17km de Medellín en la Carretera Santa Elena, Vía aeropuerto José María Córdova, este pueblo ofrece caminatas por senderos ecológicos que lo llevarán a encontrarse con el Mirador Cerro Verde y el Mirador de la Paloma.
En este pueblo también se encuentra el Parque Natural Piedras Blancas, que ofrece paseos en bote, canopy y un recorrido por el Museo Entomológico con más de 11.000 insectos.

San Cristóbal
Hace parte de los cinco corregimientos del municipio de Medellín, se encuentra a 11km del centro de la ciudad.
Su actividad económica se centra en el cultivo de flores (Azucena, Soliaster, Estátice, Girasol, Gladiolo, Astromelia, Caspia y Cartucho entre otras), hortalizas (Cilantro, Remolacha, Cebolla larga, Repollo, Apio, Lechuga, Espinaca, Arveja, Pimentón, Ajo, Zanahoria, Coliflor, Rábano, Col, Pepino Cohombro, Ají y Perejil entre otras), plátano y monocultivos de tomate de árbol. Es el principal proveedor de hortalizas de Medellín.
En esta zona abunda el material de construcción, por tal razón se desarrollaron algunas fábricas de ladrillos.
Cuenta con trucheras para que sus visitantes puedan disfrutar de un día de pesca deportiva, senderos ecológicos y cabalgatas para disfrutar de los paisajes, lagunas y monumentos.
