En Capurganá y las poblaciones aledañas se realizan eventos que en su mayoría representan las tradiciones, creencias, bailes, gastronomía, en pocas palabras las manifestaciones culturales de los pobladores de la zona.
Festival de la Cigua
Es un evento que involucra actividades gastronómicas, musicales y de danza, que se desarrolla teniendo como protagonista a la “Cigua” - molusco marino de la zona- mediante el cual se manifiesta la cultura de mar presente en la zona.

Evento que promueve las composiciones, géneros y formatos originarios del Chocó.

Advocación a la Virgen del Carmen
Fiesta que se realiza en honor a la patrona de los conductores (en especial para los lancheros en el caso del departamento del Chocó), durante este evento se realizan procesiones no terrestres sino acuáticas, representaciones de danza con música en vivo y celebraciones populares que amenizan este evento religioso.

Feria Agropecuaria, Industrial y Artesanal
Evento que se realiza cada dos años, que congrega a productores agropecuarios –principalmente a quienes trabajan con plátano y coco- industriales y artesanales con el objetivo de exhibir sus productos y premiarlos por su tamaño y calidad. Dentro del marco de esta feria se realizan muestras gastronómicas y una presentación de artesanías elaboradas por comunidades indígenas.
